From prototype to series

We carried out transmission measurements based on the AQL sampling method to fully utilize the dynamics of the measuring method. We machined the edge of the deflecting prism virtually chipping free and applied a rimless coating. Hence, thousands of users worldwide now benefit from low maintenance costs because of a reliable and precise shaft alignment.

By combining filter glasses with highly varying expansion coefficients, each temperature cycle becomes challenging. By carefully selecting the bonded joining, we were able to compensate for it. After verifying the demanding ambient conditions (IP65, operating temperature –20 to +60 °C), our solution moved on to serial production.
